We embrace our primary demographic of older adults and provide community and encouragement for each other.

Our gathering as a congregation is in response to the divine call to be the Church. It is formed out of our voluntary and personal commitment of faith. It is shaped by a shared vision of what God calls us to be and to do. It becomes reality as we work with each other to live to the praise and glory of God. To respond to this call we covenant together in our different areas of service in the church.

Susan has experienced many places of ministry and is thrilled to have landed at Wilmot as our pastor. Following God, has taken her to Manitoba, Chicago, Egypt, Botswana and several locations here in Southern Ontario. She loves walking along side people of faith – both Christian and other faith groups. Connecting with people of all ages from the youngest baby to the oldest adult keeps her rejuvenated and aware of God’s presence in our lives at every life stage. Wherever she has been, whatever she has done, her focus has always been on building significant relationships with people. There’s nothing better in life than sitting across a table from a good friend sharing a pot of tea!
Susan shares life with husband Glyn Jones and her two amazing daughters Maeyken and Adrieana and son in-law Rob.

Valerie has been with Wilmot Mennonite since 2017 and enjoys the people here. She has many years of Church office administration in Anglican and Lutheran churches. Valerie lives in Kitchener and enjoys walks outside in nature and if there are family or friends to join, all the better. Valerie has three grown children Faith (Matthew), Clarke and Joel. Her two grandchildren Jack and Maeve bring great joy.
